I'm a Graphic Designer, so I've always been interested in typography, but specially calligraphy and the organic nature of it. How the hand and the stroke make a great difference, how it's a craft in itself that has now resurfaced and is becoming more and more trendy or prominent. At least we now see it more! in cafes, 'A' boards with menus on the street, blackboards in restaurants... I would like to think it's a revival of the craft, an appreciation of the artisan and the time and dedication it takes. This is for sure a skill I want to develop and master!... Calligraphy pens here I come!
