This weekend was a long one, to celebrate Canada Day. We love camping, so we went on our first camping of the season to Awenda Provincial Park. It's located towards the North, not so far from the city, in the Georgian Bay area. Our daughters are older now, so it's great to go camping with them because they actually help a lot and don't complain about long hikes or bugs too much!
Being surrounded by nature really inspires me... the quiet, the natural sounds of the forest, the beautiful light and all the different shades of green. The long walks and hikes, sitting by the campfire, with no technology and a good book, really recharge my spirit.
